On the biggest sale season of the year, we gave away free gaming gear. But it was only free if you survived. The Loot Store? Every gamer’s dream.

Gamers play to do things they can’t in the real world, like surviving impossible challenges to gain rare rewards. But they often wonder what it’s like to do these things in real life.

To launch Warzone 2.0’s new Loot and Extract mode, we answered that desire by bringing the new game world into reality.

A whole warehouse full of HyperX equipment just there for the taking.

Working with User Experience experts and production design team, we set up an experience that brought the game to life.

We gave 21 creators across 7 markets starring roles in the Warzone 2.0 gameplay but in real life. Set against an immersive physical recreation of the new Al Mazrah map, which they had to raid for loot while evading hostile guards before time ran out.

The creators then organised watch parties and streamed the intense live-action COD gameplay to their fans, while giving away all the loot they stole. Enabling gaming communities across APAC to collectively join in this unique and momentous launch.
